Witty is vocabulary four-in-a-row for two players: a 5×5 board of terms and a shared deck of definitions. Match a definition to claim its term. You cannot take the square you want, only a square you can name. Four in a row wins.

How It Plays

The Card Picks the Square

A four-in-a-row board with no limit on where you can play falls apart — everyone just takes the square that blocks the other player.

In Witty the limit is in the deck. On your turn you are not asking which square you want. You are asking which of these three squares helps you most, and you have about fifteen seconds to decide.

Definitions run seven to twelve words, so three of them read fast. A table should get through at least three games in fifteen minutes.

Fox — the Second Game on the Same Board

Fold the board sheet instead of cutting it, stand it up between two players, and the same grid runs a hidden-shape game.

Every printed kit contains two identical board sheets, so Fox needs no second download.

Printing a Class Set

Each unit PDF prints fifteen kits, twelve pages each — one print covers a class of thirty. After that only board sheets get reprinted, and the board layouts are identical across all fifteen kits, so any two sheets in the room pair up.

Print at 100%, not "fit to page", or the sizing drifts. Fold board sheets in the middle. Never cut them.
